I first joined WOW as a member in 2013 when I wasn’t in a great place physically or mentally – I was tired, burnt out and juggling a busy career and young family. I knew I had to do something about my long term fitness but wasn’t sure where to start.
The WOW team gently turned my approach and habits around and so I’m a huge fan of what a difference we can make to your life. I joined the staff in 2017 and qualified as a Personal Trainer specialising in women’s health, including exercise and nutrition for women as we go through changes in our lives, such as having babies, the menopause and ageing.
Most people I coach started out thinking (like me) that a gym or fitness isn’t really for them and are often confused or overwhelmed as to what they should do. If you want to get fit, have fun and then get on with the rest of your life – we will help you with that! In my spare time I enjoy walking my chocolate labrador, baking (and eating) with my family and a bit of endurance running. I also write a regular column in the Stour and Avon magazine on health and fitness.
